1 Visit: Sábado - Apulia Central

Arrival in Bari/Barletta and accommodation in the hotel of the planned location (check-in from 16:00). Before dinner, meet with our guide-accompanier. Welcome cocktail and presentation of the tour. Dinner and hotel accommodation in Bari/Barletta area or surroundings.

2 Visit: Domingo Apulia Central/Trani/San Giovanni Rotondo/ Monte San Angelo/ Gargano

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Trani, visit the Cathedral on the sea. Departure to San Giovanni Rotondo, a place of congregation of the faithful from all over the world, bordering the salt marshes of Margherita of Savoy, which, being the largest in Europe, is home to an essential colony of pink flamingos. Lunch. Visit the places where St. Pio developed his work and left his legacy for over 50 years. Departure to Monte San Angelo declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and visit the Sanctuary with the Grotto of St. Michael the Archangel. Arrival at the hotel in the Gargano area and dinner.

3 Visit: Lunes Gargano/ Vieste/Foresta Umbra/ Gargano

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Vieste along the Gargano coast, the most famous tourist town of the Gargano, and a guided tour of its beautiful historic center. Free time and lunch. In the afternoon, return to the hotel through the "Umbra forest," the largest lush forest in Italy, the heart of the Gargano National Park. Dinner at the hotel in the Gargano area.

4 Visit: Martes - Gargano/Barletta/ Bari/ Valle De Itria

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Barletta where we will enjoy a pleasant walk through the old town admiring the main monuments of the city such as the Norman Castle, the Cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Colossus of Barletta or "Eraclio" and the "Basement of the challenge." Then visit a local oil mill and tasting of the famous Altamura bread. Lunch and departure to Bari, visit the historic center with the Basilica of St. Nicholas, a masterpiece of the Pugliese Romanesque. Transfer to the hotel in the Itria Valley area, accommodation, and dinner.

5 Visit: Miércoles - Valle De Itria/Grutas De Castellana/ Alberobello/ Ostuni/ Valle De Itria

Breakfast at the hotel, leave Grotte di Castellana and visit the homonymous caves. Arrive in Alberobello, the "capital of the Trulli," and walk through its monumental area declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Lunch. Departure to Ostuni, the "white city," and stroll through its picturesque historic center with a visit to its Romanesque-Gothic cathedral. Return to the hotel in the Itria Valley area and dinner.

6 Visit: Jueves – Valle De Itria/ Lecce/ Otranto/ Valle De Itria

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Lecce, the "Florence of the South," capital of the Pugliese Baroque. Visit the historic center with the Basilica of Santa Croce, Piazza Duomo, and Piazza San Oronzo. Small oil tasting. Lunch. In the afternoon, departure to Otranto for a visit to this city called the "Gate of the East," with its Romanesque Cathedral, the chapel of the tomb of the Holy Martyrs, and the suggestive Crypt. Return to the hotel in the Itria Valley area and dinner.

7 Visit: Viernes – Valle De Itria/ Matera/ Apulia Central

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Matera for the visit of the historic center, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO thanks to the famous "Sassi" neighborhoods and their houses, cellars, and churches primarily carved into the rock, with particular attention to the "Sassi" Barisano and Caveoso neighborhoods. Lunch and departure to Bari or surroundings. Transfer to central Apulia. Accommodation in a hotel in Bari/Barletta area or surroundings and dinner.
