TRANSFER from the airport, if you have it included or purchasing. Our transfer will be waiting for you with a poster on behalf of Eurowelcome or its name to the output of the custom (after collecting your luggage).

Transfer from Edinburgh Airport or train station to the hotel where the tour will start. Bed and breakfast at the Hotel Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City Centre, Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh, Holiday Inn Edinburgh, Ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge or similar.
We will start the morning with a panoramic view of the city including the entrance to Edinburgh Castle, a historic fortress that has dominated the city since the 12th century. We will have the afternoon free to explore the 18th-century Georgian New Town, an elegant area with cobbled streets, sandstone buildings and a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. You can visit the National Gallery of Scotland, stroll along Princes Street or go shopping on George Street. We recommend visiting the Scottish Parliament building, a masterpiece of modern architecture, and enjoying a pleasant walk through its gardens. We'll start this tour with a journey north from Edinburgh across the famous Forth Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Suspension Bridge that offers stunning views of the Firth of Forth. We will continue our journey through the Kingdom of Fife en route to St. Andrews, the cradle of golf worldwide and home to the University of St. Andrews, the oldest in Scotland, where Prince William and Kate Middleton studied. We will admire St. Andrews Cathedral and St. Andrews Castle from the outside before continuing to the seaside city of Dundee, where we will have free time for lunch in one of its local restaurants. In the afternoon, we will head north to Glamis Castle, the family residence of the Queen Mother and the birthplace of Princess Margaret, sister of Queen Elizabeth II. This magnificent fortified castle, with later additions that turned it into a manor house, will captivate us with its history and beauty. We will enjoy a guided tour of its different rooms and gardens. We will end the day in Aberdeen. Leaving the port city of Aberdeen we will pass the cathedral and university in the old town and continue our route through the Highlands until we reach Elgin. In this charming town, we will visit its beautiful medieval cathedral and then have the opportunity to enjoy a Whiskey tasting at a local distillery. We will enjoy free time for lunch in Elgin before continuing our way to Inverness, the capital of the Highlands. On the way, we will make a brief stop at the battlefield of Culloden, the scene of an important battle in Scottish history. Upon arrival in Inverness, we will take a walking tour of the city, walking through its main streets, crossing the River Ness and admiring its castle. Dinner, bed and breakfast at the MacDonald Aviemore Hotel, Highland Hotel Aviemore, Highlander Hotel, Coylumbridge Hotel or similar in the area.
In the morning we will head towards Loch Ness in search of its ancestral host "Nessie. From the shores of the lake, we will enjoy the breathtaking views and pay a visit to the Ruins of Urquhart Castle, a medieval fortress with a rich history. We will continue our way west, passing by the romantic Eilean Donan Castle, an icon of Scotland that has served as the setting for films and television series. We will cross to the mystical Isle of Skye, known for its stunning landscapes, charming villages and rich Gaelic culture. We will drive through the spectacular panoramas of the island enjoying extraordinary views of Cuillin Hill and arrive to see the Mealt Falls and the Kilt Rock behind before ending the day at the hotel. Dinner, bed and breakfast at Kings Arms Hotel on the Isle of Skye, Dunollie, Kyle Hotel in Kyle of Lochalsh, Gairloch Hotel in Gairloch or similar.
We'll start the day with a ferry ride from Armadale on Skye to Mallaig Harbour, located on the mainland coast of Scotland. We will sail along the “Road to the Isles”, a sea route considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world, enjoying spectacular landscapes and charming villages. We will continue our journey south by land, passing Fort William, a town located at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles. We will enter the historic and beautiful Glencoe Valley, the scene of the tragic Glencoe Massacre in 1692. We will travel through the mountains of Buchaille Etive Moor, where we will enjoy breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and green valleys. Our path will take us to the shores of Lake Awe, a crystal clear lake surrounded by mountains and forests. We will arrive at the town of Inveraray, famous for its majestic Inveraray Castle, ancestral residence of the Campbell Clan. Dinner, bed and breakfast at Inveraray Inn Hotel, Dalmaly Hotel, Loch Long Hotel or similar in the area.
We will skirt the attractive Lake Fyne, famous for its oysters and spectacular landscapes. We will continue south-east until we reach the shores of Loch Lomond, the largest lake in Britain and one of the most captivating places in all of Scotland. Afterwards, we will head east to the historic town of Stirling, where one of the most important clashes of the wars of independence between Scotland and England originated. In 1297, William Wallace led the Scottish army to victory at the Battle of Stirling Bridge (made famous by the movie Braveheart) becoming the undisputed leader of the resistance against the English. We will visit Stirling Castle, situated on a rocky promontory that dominates the region and has breathtaking panoramic views. We will return to Edinburgh for the last night.
