Day
Pick up your travel documents at the SBB ticket office at the airport and travel by train to Lucerne. Characterized by the medieval Chapel Bridge, Lucerne is one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Don't forget to visit the old town with its multicolored facades.
At 2132 m.a.s.l. Mount Pilatus is one of the highest peaks in the Lucerne area. From Kriens, you take the gondola and funicular up to the summit (open from 10/11). Enjoy the spectacular views of the alpine landscape in winter! Return to Lucerne and free time.
The Golden Pass Line train takes about two hours to reach Interlaken. Located between the two lakes of Thun and Brienz, this quiet town is the starting point for excursions to the nearby mountains, among them the famous triumvirate of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Enjoy the atmosphere of Interlaken on a stroll.
The summit of Europe! The Jungfraujoch is a world of eternal ice and snow. At an altitude of 3,454 m is the highest railway station in Europe. Built-in 1912, the train travels a distance of nine kilometers, mostly passing through a tunnel inside the Eiger mountain. On arrival the view of the Aletsch glacier is breathtaking.
We leave the alpine world of the Bernese Oberland behind and arrive on the Golden Pass Line train to the Swiss Riviera. Montreux, known worldwide for its Jazz music festival, is located on the shores of Lake Geneva. A stroll along the Montreux waterfront is a must for all visitors.
Morning at leisure and return by train to Zurich at noon. End of services.
