Night in Santa Cruz
Travel through the Amazonian plains and the vast ramifications of the Andes mountain range. Visit the ruins of Samaipata, a majestic and mysterious pre-Inca fort, located on top of a hill with a large ceremonial center carved in stone. Finally, to Samaipata, a walk through the town and its local museum. Return to Santa Cruz.

Flight to Sucre (colonial city, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO) with both transfers. This tour includes a visit to La Casa de la Libertad, where the Act of Independence of Bolivia was signed in 1825; Bolivar Park, to see examples of the noble tradition of Sucre, with miniature replicas of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe in Paris; the church and museum of La Recoleta, and the museum of Indigenous Textiles ASUR.

Sucre - Potosi. P.M. city tour and mine at Cerro Rico.

Travel by regular bus through different valleys up the Altiplano to the city of Potosi, declared Cultural and Natural Heritage by UNESCO. In the afternoon, walk through traditional colonial streets, the churches of San Francisco and San Lorenzo (its facade) and also a mine in Cerro Rico. This excursion allows visitors to experience an unforgettable journey hundreds of meters underground, to see the living and working conditions of Bolivian miners (protective clothing and helmets are provided). The silver mine is in the famous Cerro Rico, once the richest in the world.

On the morning bus trip to Uyuni, we crossed the Andes mountain range, old mining centers, and villages with beautiful landscapes and indigenous communities. Arrival, to continue the journey to the south visiting first the cemetery of old trains, then through the altiplano passing through the villages of San Cristobal and Culpina K ascending to the rich valley of Alota (3 hours), then through lands with large stone formations made by erosion. Continue through high valleys to the town of Villamar (1 hour).

Night in Villamar
LONG DAY! Early morning drive entering the REA (Eduardo Abaroa National Reserve) and passing by the Challviri lagoon, with its hot springs on the edge of Polques. Then, crossing the high desert of Pampas de Dalí with incredible views, to reach Laguna Verde (3 hours), in the foothills of the Licancabur mountain. Drive back to Laguna Colorada, declared a RAMSAR site due to the nesting of more than 30,000 flamingos at 4,278 meters above sea level. Then up to the "Sol de Mañana" geysers, enter the high deserts of Siloli, visiting the Stone Tree. Continue through the smaller lakes of Ramaditas, Honda, Chiarkhota, Hedionda, and Cañapa until you reach the town of San Juan.

Drive north through the altiplano passing through the villages of San Agustin and San Juan (2 hours), entering in Chuvica to the incredible salt flat of Uyuni crossing to "Isla Incahuasi" (1 hour), a unique habitat of volcanic rocks and giant cactus. Lunch will be served in the middle of the salt desert. Continue east to the village of Colchani (2 hours), where the locals produce salt. Enjoy an incredible sunset—accommodation in a salt hotel.

Transfer to the airport to take your flight to La Paz. Pleasant trip in private transport north through the Altiplano, then bordering Lake Titicaca and parallel to the Cordillera Real of the Andes to Copacabana (3 hours and a half), a pretty village on the shores of the Lake. Visit its church and famous "Virgen Morena." Walkthrough the town. Boat trip across the Lake to Isla del Sol (1 hour), to the port of Huacani for an Aptapi (typical Altiplano lunch), then by boat to the ruins of Pilkokaina to the south of the island. Hike to La Estancia Ecolodge (1 hour and 15 minutes).

Walk along the Inca Steps to the island's main port, Yumani. Then, take the boat to Moon Island (30min), visit the ruins of "Iñak Uyu," Inca temple also called Palace of the Virgins. Ship back to Copacabana (1 hour). Shared bus to La Paz (3 hours and a half).

A unique visit to the popular neighborhoods and markets of La Paz, guided by a "lustrabota" who will provide different impressions of this fantastic city. We will meet our "lustra-guide" outside the old railway terminal of La Paz. Then, we jump on one of the many cable car lines that this vibrant city has, the red line, and descend to where our walking tour begins, the main cemetery. After a brief visit, we continue walking to the "Mercado de la Calle de Los Peces," the "Mercado de las Flores" and the "Mercado de Uruguay," where you can see various species of animals and food. The tour continues to Eloy Salmon Street, full of stores and stalls selling the latest technology, and the "Mercado Cholitas," where you can see the Cholitas (local ladies) buying traditional skirts and blankets. The tour concludes at the famous witches market on Linares and Sagarnaga streets, where we learn a little of the Andean cosmovision.
